Game On 13
I opened Game On 13 in October 2014. I wanted to inspire young athletes and make an impact in their life every day.
Game On 13 prides itself on being a local sports training facility that helps athletes build their confidence and skills through individual training and coaching. One of our favorite things to do is set up specialty classes depending on the needs of the athlete.
Depending on the time of year, Game On 13 employs as few as 20 or as many as 50 employees inside and outside the Elmsford-based facility. We do our best to help the community and have partnered with leagues, schools, colleges, and universities across Westchester County and the Bronx to run practices and coach games. We’re heavily involved in developing in-house programs for leagues, including one on one coaching for players looking to get better. We help young athletes create and achieve realistic goals.
I firmly believe that loving what you do makes a difference in how you do it. I love baseball and look forward to it every day because of it.
Over the last few years, we’ve had to diversify our programming to match the needs of our athletes in addition to capturing exciting and challenging opportunities that came our way. Some of the moments I’m most proud of include:
In August 2019, I was able to offer a once-in-a-lifetime pitching clinic with Mariano Rivera at the facility. Over HOW MANY PEOPLE SHOWED UP? And were given the opportunity to learn from a living legend.
When COVID hit and we had to temporarily shut down our facility, I had to get creative. I pooled my resources and created Game On 13’s Virtual Classroom. With over 30 sessions with high attendance, we were able to stay engaged with our athletes and offer access to resources we’ve never offered before.
